Mary-Margaret Fondriest
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor
CO-FOUNDER
I work with adults navigating any of the following: anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use and recovery, grief and loss, death and dying, faith and spirituality, parenting, cross-cultural relationships, military and veterans, families impacted by substance use, suicide and homicide.
My primary orientation as a therapist is somatic, meaning as we explore conditions of the mind, we lend attention to conditions of the body. A somatic approach to therapy aims to lessen automatic responses involving stuck patterns of fight, flight and freeze. I am an advanced-level student of Somatic Experiencing(traumahealing.org), an integrated body-based approach for resolving trauma-based symptoms.
If you find yourself dealing with reactions, behaviors, or symptoms that seem automatic (despite your best efforts to change) a somatic approach may be worth exploring. A somatic approach can work well in treatment of sudden shock traumas, such as car accidents; or developmental, childhood, and relational traumas, the effects of which can linger for years. Other therapy modalities I use include: Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Enhancement and mindfulness-based meditation practice support.
I bring both cultural competency and cultural humility to my work as a therapist. I care very much about supporting and promoting young adults from poverty and working-class backgrounds. My approach tends to be direct and well-attuned. I feel called to counseling for a variety of reasons; it is both a comfortable way that I enjoy engaging with people, as well as an honor to support the process of healing, liberation, and repair.
I accept the following insurances: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid, MVP, and Medicare.
My cash rate is $150/hr.I am available to provide clinical supervision to counselors-in-training, primarily to those interested in somatic and mindfulness approaches.
Please call, text, or email for a consultation and to discuss options for meeting with me.

Licensed Psychologist Master
Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor
CO-FOUNDER
When people begin to struggle in life it can feel like you are alone and you have nowhere to turn to. You may begin to avoid people, places, and activities you enjoy to not have to deal with the discomfort that comes up. From here life can begin to get challenging and the spiral of mental health and substance use complications can set in. This is where I can join you to help.
As a therapist, I have helped people through many complications including depression, anxiety, trauma, pain management, OCD, ADHD, grief, all different kinds of substance use problems, and so many other complications that can come from the challenges of life. My goal is to help people with whatever problems are coming up to so that you can live the life you want to rather than feeling like you life is ruling over you.
My main style of therapy is called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In this form of therapy the goal is to stop focusing on the negatives that our mind so easily goes to and to focus on the values we have within our lives. In shifting the way that we think and the actions we do with purpose and understanding, we are able to allow emotions to be present, to process, and stop avoiding the discomfort of everyday life. When that happens people are able to focus on the life they want to live and growing into the person they want to be.
I was born, raised, and lived most of my life here in Lamoille County. I left for college and returned because this is home and where my family is. I say this as I understand the difficulties and challenges that arise in living in this area and understand the struggles people face living in this area. My goal is to help others in the area understand how they can heal and understand themselves better.
I accept the following insurances: Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, MVP, United Health, and Aetna.
My cash rate is $150/hr.Please call, text, or email for a consultation and to discuss options for meeting with me.

Breanna Hart
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
CO-FOUNDER
I have lived in rural Vermont for most of my life and am deeply connected to this community. I graduated from Vermont State University (formerly Johnson State College) in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. My career began at Easterseals Vermont, where I spent 10 years as a Care Coordinator and Program Manager. During this time, I supported children and families involved with child protective services, which laid the foundation for my current clinical practice. It is here that I developed a strong commitment to person-centered, solution-focused, and strength-based approaches. I also had the privilege of leading and participating in statewide and national training programs focused on family-centered practices.
In 2013, I earned a master’s in social work from the University of Southern California to further my clinical expertise. Over the years, I have specialized in supporting individuals with addiction, trauma, and attachment. As a Clinical Care Coordinator for those in medication-assisted treatment, and later as a Child-Parent Psychotherapist, I developed a broad range of clinical skills. In recent years, I’ve expanded my practice to serve clients across all stages of life, with a diverse range of needs and challenges.
Today, as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my focus is on providing compassionate, client-centered care to individuals of all ages— from young children and their families to older adults. I am committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where clients can tap into their inherent strengths, gain insight, and experience lasting healing.
My Practice:
My approach is integrative, strength-based, and personalized to meet the unique needs of each client. Together, we’ll focus on your individual experiences, strengths, and goals to develop effective strategies for personal growth and healing.
With a strong foundation in evidence-based therapies, I specialize in working with individuals experiencing complex trauma, life stress, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and emotional regulation difficulties. I offer a range of therapeutic modalities, including:
· EMDR: To help process past trauma and alleviate its impact on current well-being.
· Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy: For deeper personal insight and lasting behavioral change.
· DBT: Equipping clients with practical tools for stress management, emotional regulation, and relationship building.
· ACT: Supporting clients in aligning their actions with their core values, leading to meaningful, long-term change.
· Child-Parent Psychotherapy: Strengthening the bond between parents and children, particularly following trauma or separation.
· IFS with EMDR: Integrating Internal Family Systems and EMDR to address unresolved trauma and bring healing to the parts of self that may be holding onto past pain.
I work collaboratively with clients to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can explore their challenges, heal, and ultimately thrive. By integrating multiple therapeutic approaches, I guide clients toward emotional balance, resilience, and lasting well-being.
